The underwater is active and we only have a pseudo image pointing at the threshholds of its activity.

Destruction, underwater mountain ranges, volcanic cones, smoke, sulphur and basalt coexist with the human entity and its agricultural practices in Santorini.  The crops that thrive in volcanic ash are the grape, the caper, the cherry tomato, the bean.

Santorinians are said to display a tough, wild character.  The Santozeum is documenting local crusts, whether on the volcano or on a person.
