LONDON IS EMPTY, BUT HAS AMAZING CAB DRIVERS

On a late night expedition to the Summer Exhibition at the Royal Academy.  All viewership is best at night, considering making the Santozeum a nocturnal space.  Bats, ghosts, skeleton, uninhibited viewing reaction, an eclectic set of solo viewers who clearly share the pleasure of the empty and the dark, who knows how long they spent lurking, the guards are tired, the wine glasses are fuller, the eye is tired and raw, hide-and-seek is possible, and if you stay ’til close you witness the awesome giant doors closing on room after room, excellent.
